What does our rating mean? 

We have been recognised for delivering exceptionally high‑quality, person‑centred support, with several areas achieving the top score of 4. Inspectors highlighted our strong safety culture, where staff feel confident to speak up, learn from incidents, and work closely with people to understand what safety means to them personally.

 

Detailed, holistic assessments and highly individualised risk management ensure people are supported in ways that protect them while enabling independence and dignity. Our service excels in how we involve people in shaping their care, with personalised plans that reflect individuals’ goals, preferences, backgrounds and aspirations.

 

Inspectors praised the meaningful partnerships we build with health, therapy and social care professionals, ensuring care is seamless and well‑coordinated. People and relatives consistently described our care as compassionate, respectful and tailored, with staff who know our clients well and respond quickly to changing needs.

 

Our commitment to accessibility, equality and supporting people to live healthier, more independent lives is also strongly recognised. Leadership was highlighted as a major strength, with BPJ described as having an exceptional culture rooted in transparency, human rights, inclusivity and continuous improvement. Managers were seen as visible, knowledgeable and deeply supportive - both of people using the service and staff delivering care.

 

Innovative initiatives, such as our Support Worker Wellness Group, and our outward‑facing leadership in education and best practice, demonstrate a commitment not only to high‑quality care but to advancing standards across the sector. Overall, our service was celebrated as safe, caring, effective, responsive and very well‑led, with multiple areas achieving the highest score possible.
