Fantastic opportunities available for the role of Support Worker in the Hebburn area. We are looking for flexible, driven, committed, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work with our client. Various positions and hours are available, including mornings, evenings, weekends and school holidays.

 

The role involves working with a 12 year old boy with cerebral palsy in his family home. The child requires support with personal care, meal preparation, feeding and moving and handling.

 

We are seeking individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills who can work well with children. They also need the ability to follow clear plans set out by rehabilitation professionals.

 

The young man loves cinema, gaming and his pet dog. He has a bright and engaging personality and good sense of humour.

 

Car driver with full clean UK driving license essential. Appointment will be made following successful 2-stage interview and in line with the company’s safe recruitment policy.

 

Whilst not essential, experience in working with children is desirable. Successful applicants will receive full training and supervision from the case manager and other professionals where required.
